Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards in their managed office spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure all shared areas, meeting rooms, and private offices are kept spotless, safe, and presentable at all times. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, scheduling cleaning routines, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations in all office areas including common zones, washrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens, and private suites.
- Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure regular upkeep without disrupting tenant's work flows.
- Train, lead, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high-quality service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify cleanliness, maintenance, or safety issues and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies such as cleaning products, toiletries, and equipment.
- Address and resolve tenant complaints related to housekeeping services quickly and professionally.
- Ensure all staff follow company policies, health & safety, and hygiene standards.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers when required for deep cleaning or pest control services.
- Prepare and submit housekeeping performance reports and incident logs to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role, preferably in commercial or office space management but not necessary
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., for scheduling, reporting, ordering stock).
- Flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends if needed.
Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
- Experience of professional cleaning working in managed office space or hotel
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Maths and English GCSE
