About you:

  • You hold a recognised health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • You possess previous experience in a Health & Safety role within a construction or similar environment
  • You have strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
  • You excel in communication and stakeholder engagement
  • You demonstrate excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive safety culture
  • Membership of IOSH or working towards it is desirable

What you'll do:

  • Support the implementation and continuous review of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard management
  • Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, producing comprehensive reports and preventative measures
  • Lead or coordinate safety training sessions to raise awareness across teams
  • Assist in internal safety audits, compliance reporting, and management reviews
  • Help develop emergency response plans, execute safety drills, and manage fire safety protocols
