About you:
- You hold a recognised health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- You possess previous experience in a Health & Safety role within a construction or similar environment
- You have strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
- You excel in communication and stakeholder engagement
- You demonstrate excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
- You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive safety culture
- Membership of IOSH or working towards it is desirable
What you'll do:
- Support the implementation and continuous review of health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard management
- Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, producing comprehensive reports and preventative measures
- Lead or coordinate safety training sessions to raise awareness across teams
- Assist in internal safety audits, compliance reporting, and management reviews
- Help develop emergency response plans, execute safety drills, and manage fire safety protocols
