Position: Permanent
Location: Fivemiletown (Office-Based)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the continuous enhancement of the HSEQ Management System across the Toome and Carryduff sites, ensuring health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are deeply ingrained in the company culture.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership, engagement, empowerment, and accountability to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and contractors.
  • Develop, audit, and maintain an integrated HSEQ Management System to drive continuous improvement, while liaising with internal and external regulators and stakeholders.
  • Use internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, HSEQ best practices, environmental permits, consents, and relevant International and British Standards.
  • Monitor and enforce HSEQ compliance across sites, implementing control measures to prevent injuries, illness, customer complaints, and minimise environmental impact.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing HSEQ policies, procedures, SOPs, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legislation and guidance.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, non-conformance, and near misses, providing advice on improvements and corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of the EngagePro HSEQ technology and encourage positive reporting through shared ownership.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant experience in driving companywide improvements.
  • Background in a similar Health & Safety role.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in the concrete products manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH Diploma.
