Are you looking for a Health & Safety Manager role? Interested in working for a leading commercial fit-out contractor?

VANRATH are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to work on various commercial fit out projects in London, for a Northern Irish based Main Contractor.

Remuneration:

c£50,000 to £60,000 + travel / accommodation / package

Client:

Our client is a leading commercial fit-out contractor based in Greater Belfast, Northern Ireland. They specialise in high quality commercial fit-out projects covering retail, hospitality, business, sport and healthcare.

The company are very busy and growing from strength to strength. They have multiple projects currently ongoing and many more in the pipeline. They are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join them on a permanent basis; someone that is happy to work in London Monday to Friday.

The Ideal Person:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent qualification) is essential for this role
  • Technician membership of IOSH or similar is required
  • Recent proven experience of working in a health and safety role at a similar level and within the construction industry
  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring to develop health and safety knowledge and expertise
  • A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health, safety, and risk management
  • A comprehensive knowledge of current health and safety legislation, management, and standards
  • Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on health and safety and risk management issues.
  • Knowledge of workplace well-being initiatives and how they add value to an organisation
  • Experience in completing health and safety management audits against ISO 45001 and implementing action plans to meet audit findings
  • Happy to work in London on a daily basis
