VANRATH is supporting the recruitment of a Health & Safety Manager for a prominent Supply Chain company experiencing significant growth. The successful candidate will become part of a well-established, forward-thinking organisation.
The role is a permanent, full time position based in Randalstown, with standard Monday to Friday hours.

Core Duties:
- Champion the integration of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) within the organisation's culture, ensuring all employees understand and uphold its importance.
- Foster a proactive safety culture through leadership, involvement, and empowerment, prioritising the safety of employees, clients, contractors, and customers.
- Support the company's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives and sustainability goals, working collaboratively with employees, local communities, customers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to positively impact society.
- Oversee, enhance, and audit integrated HSEQ Management systems (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and BES6001) and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Promote and contribute to a workplace that prioritises the physical and mental health of all team members.
- Advise and implement effective measures to control HSEQ risks related to work activities, ensuring operations are executed in a way that minimises injuries, illnesses, and environmental impact.
- Conduct regular monitoring of HSEQ standards across all sites and suggest necessary improvements; assist with the adoption and enhancement of HSEQ technologies throughout the organisation.
- Maintain up-to-date HSEQ policies, procedures, and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally in a managerial capacity or equivalent experience.
