I'm actively seeking a dynamic professional with expertise in face fit testing to join their team and play a key role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
Job Description: In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while contributing your expertise in the coordination of face fit testing to enhance safety practices. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll collaborate with various departments, championing a culture of safety and well-being for our workforce.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive site inspections and risk assessments, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to department heads and employees, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
• Design and deliver targeted training programs, ensuring seamless compliance with safety protocols
• Coordinate face fit testing for respiratory protective equipment.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, proposing and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of relevant legislation, industry best practices, and emerging trends in health and safety.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to seamlessly integrate safety measures, including face fit testing, into operational processes.
• Actively contribute to the development and implementation of robust emergency response plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in a public sector environment.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience in delivering impactful health and safety training programs, including face fit testing.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
