About you:
- Hold a CIPP qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading payroll functions in a multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and care sector payroll complexities
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and communication capabilities
- Demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and professionalism
What you'll do:
- Lead and develop the payroll team across all care sites to ensure operational excellence
- Oversee weekly, four-weekly, and monthly payroll processing, including complex pay elements
- Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, HMRC requirements, and GDPR standards
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and operational teams to optimise payroll and scheduling systems
- Drive process improvements, system upgrades, and automation initiatives to boost efficiency
- Provide reports and insights to senior leadership on payroll trends and costs
