Job Description

The Client:

Our client is a specialist management consultancy whose core focus is to help our clients better manage and exploit risk. They help global investors focus on investing and preserving capital in a sustainable and compliant manner.

The role is based at our client's London office, so remote working is assumed for the role however there is the option to use the Belfast office on a hybrid working model if preferred. The role will also require occasionally require travel for business purposes.


Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, suited to an experienced professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail and with an ability to build strong and credible relationships across the organisation through consistent
and authentic behaviour that generates lasting trust.

The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, audit or similar relevant Risk experience
  • Experience of Risk Events, Risk Reporting, KRIs, risk identification and mitigation
  • Highly competent communicator both verbal and written
  • Organisational, analytical and monitoring skills
  • Staff Management experience



Role Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, enhance and maintain all aspects of the Risk Management & Compliance framework covering both Financial and Non-Financial risks
  • Support and encourage a strong and appropriate risk conduct and culture across the
  • organisation
  • Support the Head of Risk to deliver on the GRC objectives
  • Support the effective analysis and assessment of major risks (including new or emerging risks) being faced or assumed by the Group, and related risk management processes
  • Support the risk identification, monitoring, escalation and approval processes
  • Review, challenge and oversee periodic Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) reporting with appropriate escalation
  • Support, challenge and oversee the Risk & Control Self Assessments and the development of Risk Registers across all entities within Group
