Are you an experienced Chartered Accountant who is interested in working with a global fin-tech business in Belfast? This is an initial contract role for a period of 3 - 6 months however there is potential for it to be extended.

VANRATH are partnered with a fin-tech business based in Belfast who are currently recruiting a Group Reporting Accountant to join their team on an initial interim contract. This is an urgent role within the business and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start. Initially the role is for a period of 3 - 6 months, with the potential for extension.

If you are a Qualified Accountant with excellent technical experience alongside having a flexible approach to work, this could be the ideal role for you. As the Group Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with project work including review of inter-company positions.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel for financial reporting
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Available at short notice

What you'll do

  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review and maintain fixed asset register
  • Lead month end close process
  • Assist with projects, including reviewing of inter-company positions
  • Support statutory filing across the group
  • Assist with technical accounting matters
