VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with an internationally recognisable software business in Belfast who are currently recruiting a senior finance professional to join their team as a Group Financial Controller. Do you have proven experience of leading a high performing finance team, and an ability to work closely with senior board members?

Reporting to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will take full responsibility for managing the full finance function, overseeing the full global process. This is initially a contract role for a period of 9 - 12 months and will be suitable for an individual with previous experience of leading a large finance team.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
• Experience of leading a large finance team, across multiple functions
• Excellent communication skills, an ability to influence and negotiate
• Strong management skills

What you'll do

• Lead the finance team throughout the global close process
• Implement improvements with internal controls and processes
• Lead of system integrations
• Lead transactional processes, ensuring deliverables are met
• Preparation of annual budget
• Oversee financial projects
