The role:

Reporting to the Financial Director and overseeing a team of 5 accounts assistants, this role offers the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to progress their career in a global business that invests time and money in their staff.

Core responsibilities include the following:

  • Issuing Monthly Financial Reports required by Managing Director.
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation's.
  • Maintain Timelog System on a weekly basis.
  • Maintenance of Quarterly VAT returns, EC Sales lists and Monthly Intrastat.
  • Completion of Sage payroll on a weekly basis, transferring by BACS system.
  • Confirm payment's to be processed in Creditor's Meeting each Friday.
  • Reconciling expenses for Directors.
  • Update cheque journal with monthly direct debits and standing orders.
  • Enter direct debits and standing orders onto Sage 200.
  • Maintenance of petty cash.
  • Reconcile and close out Monthly reports for Sales and Purchase Ledger.


The Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified / Part Qualified / QBE
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met and issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail.
