Group Finance Manager (Belfast/Scaling Business)
VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative market leading manufacturer based in Belfast in to recruit a commercially astute Group Finance Manager to take on a pivotal role within the growing finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance the GroupFinance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely transactional finance, HMRC compliance, internal financial reporting, external financial reporting bodies (grants), financial budgets and forecasts, ERP projects and improvements, business information to support strategic and departmental requirements.

About you
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years PQE gained within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Strong MS Excel skills and systems experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
What you'll do
Lead timely and accurate weekly and monthly financial information to include, management
accounts, commentary and KPIs
Lead periodic financial forecast and budgets
Lead audit process and draft statutory accounts
Lead on Grant reporting, supporting internal stakeholders and consortium partners
Lead Transactional Finance Team
Lead on treasury activities including systems to support timely and accurate forecasting/analysis
Lead global Payroll
Comply with HMRC requirements
Develop financial policies and procedures
Identify and implement improvements to company wide ERP system with particular emphasis on
process automation, intercompany, group and treasury reporting
Line management responsibilities to include mentoring
Attend team and 1-1 meetings and fulfil reporting requirements as required
Ensure compliance with Policies and procedures
Build good working relationships across the business
Contribute to shaping a culture that reflects the Values and Guiding Principles and enables thecompany to achieve its goals
