Are you a recent Economics/Business Graduate looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing business in Belfast City Centre?

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with our client, a Public Sector economic think-tank, in their search for passionate graduates with experience in Business/Economics.


The role
Full Time | 37.5 hours per week
Mon-Fri | Office Based
Benefits and Holiday Allowance
£23,205 - £30,225 (under review and dependant on experience gained since graduating)


Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide research and analytical support to senior members of the business, including:

  • Undertake comprehensive desk research and produce literature reviews / reports.
  • Support in the design, administration and analysis of quantitative and qualitative primary research (interviews and surveys).
  • Provide desk based research and other support to produce bids for new contracts.
  • Undertake data collection, cleaning and analytical tasks to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Learn and become proficient in the use of other data science, analytical and visualisation software.



The ideal candidate

  1. Hold a degree in business / economics relevant discipline
  2. Demonstrate knowledge / experience across the following areas:-
  • Public policy related qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Strong grasp of economic concepts.
  • Analytical reporting capabilities.
  • Understanding of the policy development process.
  • Familiarity with the relevant software.
  • Understanding of client relationship management.
  • Ability to travel and work under pressure.
