What you'll do
Strategic Leadership & Operations
Drive financial KPIs to support sustainable growth.
Shape and execute long-term business strategies.
Track industry trends and competitors for new opportunities.
Ensure legal, licensing, and health & safety compliance.
Oversee smooth daily operations across all departments.
Review and streamline departmental processes regularly.
Implement tech and operational upgrades for better guest experiences.
Guest Experience & Engagement
Deliver consistently high service standards.
Monitor and act on guest feedback.
Ensure personalised, professional guest interactions.
Resolve complaints swiftly and diplomatically.
Maintain visibility-greet and engage with guests directly.
People & Culture
Recruit, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
Promote a positive, collaborative, and innovative culture.
Drive staff engagement, training, and development.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
Ensure compliance with employment law and policies.
Financial & Revenue Management
Lead budgeting, planning, and cost control.
Optimise pricing and revenue strategies (ADR & Occupancy).
Support corporate/group sales, upselling, and event revenue.
Provide financial insights to the Board.
Industry & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with tourism and hospitality partners.
Represent the hotel at events to boost visibility and reputation.
About you
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel setting.
- Track record of driving strategic changes, optimising performance, and increasing revenue.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in cost control, budgeting, and revenue management.
