Galvanising Team Leader
Our client is Ireland's leading metal finishing company. Part of a larger group with subsidiaries and branches across Ireland, they are seeking a Galvanising Team Leader for its Belfast site due to continued business growth.
What's on Offer:

• Salary: £15 - £17.50 per hour
• Location: Belfast

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise efficiency within the galvanising plant, ensuring continuous improvement through KPI targets.
• Process jobs according to schedule and supervisor directives, meeting KPI targets.
• Maintain the highest quality of galvanising, ensuring operators follow ISO procedures.
• Efficiently jig jobs before pickling and ensure material is always ready for dipping, utilising efficient processing aids like multi-jigging.
• Ensure operators check work quality before packaging
• Properly package, label, and place jobs in the correct yard area.
• Highlight unsatisfactory work to a senior member of staff.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards for all personnel under your control and ensure good housekeeping.
• Adhere to company rules and ensure premises are secured out of hours.
• Fill in the shift log book for effective communication.

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience managing and leading a team of 8 or more people.
• Ability to work on a rotational shift basis including days, mid shifts, and night shifts.
• Experience in handling administrative tasks such as absence and performance management.
