Freight/Shipping Coordinator

VANRATH are delighted to be representing a leading and global logistics provider based in Newtownabbey. Our client now have a vacancy available for an experienced freight/shipping professional to join their busy team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be expected to be capable of transitioning to this position but will be provided training on their systems and processes.

The ideal person:

  • Two years related experience
  • Good geographical knowledge of UK and Europe
  • Confident and clear communication

As the Freight Forwarder, duties will include:

  • Source third-party provider
  • Monitor shipments
  • Assist in the development of a Road Brokerage service
  • Develop strong working relationships with Suppliers
  • Develop strong working relationships with Customers
