Freedom of Information Manager (£43k)

Job Description

Our large Public Sector client are recruiting for an experienced FoI Manager to support their Corporate Services function and ensure that the Organisation complies with all statutory and legislative requirements.

This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday with the potential for hybrid working arrangements and some post-related travel across the local council area and beyond.

Candidate Profile...
  • Minimum of a Third Level Qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Business, Law, Politics or Sociology.
AND
  • A minimum of two years' professional experience within a Corporate Services/Policy Function, with a focus on compliance with statutory requirements to include Freedom of Information and GDPR
PLUS
Experience across the following areas:
  • Stakeholder relations and engagement.
  • Information governance and management practices.
  • Policy development and strategic planning.
  • Records management.
  • Change management and HR practices.

Additional Requirements...
  • A willingness to work outside of business hours at weekends, evenings and public holidays, as dictated by the needs of the service.
  • Access to a form of transport and willingness to to travel on official duty within the local area and beyond.
