What's involved in the role?

Due to continued growth & business process improvement, our client is seeking an additional senior finance professional to lead on planning & reporting to maximise the gains from the enhanced operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan. Additional duties will include:

  • Lead the planning & reporting solutions to enhance the detail planning functionality
  • Work with department heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
  • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
  • Managing a team of Financial and Business Analysts

What is our client looking for?

The ideal candidate will be qualified and experienced in the following areas:

  • Post graduate Accountancy or Finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, CFA or similar)
  • Experience working in planning and reporting solution
  • Highly analytical with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Has a lot of Initiative, detail orientation, strong organisational skills & ability to multi-task
  • Strong Spreadsheet and systems skills. Oracle experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with an eye towards continuous learning and improvement.
