What's required?

In this role, you'll be responsible for working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan. Additional duties will include:

  • Lead planning and reporting solution
  • Lead the planning solution to enhance the detail planning functionality
  • Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
  • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
  • Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
  • Utilising BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
  • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
  • Managing a team of Financial and Business Analysts

What you'll need?

The ideal candidate will be qualified and experienced in the following areas:

  • Post graduate Accountancy or Finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, CFA or similar)
  • Experience working in EPM planning and reporting solution
  • Experience working in a high growth, software business and clear understanding of the inner workings of a software company
  • Highly analytical with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Has a lot of Initiative, detail orientation, strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn new things
  • Strong Spreadsheet and systems skills
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast-moving business, international environment, changing priorities
  • Ability to keep up with frequent changes to policies, procedures, and people.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with an eye towards continuous learning and improvement.
