Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with our client a leader in logistics and distribution. Who currently have a requirement for Reach Forklift Drivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Unpack and organize stock accurately as part of a fast-moving team.
- Complete orders to the highest standard.
- Unload deliveries and maintain stock accuracy.
- Prepare wholesale orders for delivery in collaboration with the wholesale team.
- Accurately pick and scan orders using RF guns.
- Minimize missed sales and losses through accurate picking.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring the general maintenance of the warehouse floor.
- Adapt and remain flexible in approach to work.
- Build and pack pick locations to ensure adequate product supply.
- Communicate stock issues promptly to the Stock Department.
- Achieve team targets and ensure procedures are followed.
- Report any concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Recommend measures to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company H&S policy.
- Act as a professional and courteous ambassador for the company at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
- Hold or have held a Forklift License for Reach Truck within the last 3 years.
- Experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Physical and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Demonstrated application of continuous improvement techniques.
- Results-oriented and able to perform well under pressure.
Desirable Criteria:
- NVQ in Warehouse Management.
- Experience using voice picking units.
- Organized and efficient.
Circumstances:
- Willingness to undertake training as required.
Working Hours
- 07:30 - 15:30
