The Role
As the Food Production Line Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the production line. You will lead a team of production operatives, ensuring quality, efficiency, and health and safety standards are consistently met. The role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills to maintain performance and meet production targets. This role is hands-on and will require Production duties.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the production line team, ensuring output meets quality and efficiency standards
- Deal with Fryers
Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement
Minimise downtime and address operational issues as they arise
Ensure full compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations
Provide training and support to new and existing team members
Maintain accurate records and reports relating to production performance
Collaborate with other departments including quality assurance and maintenance to ensure smooth operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is essential
Strong understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
