VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a leading Professional Services company with the recruitment of a Fleet & Plant & Stores Manager.Fantastic company to work in, one of the best company cultures in NI and opportunities for progression.

Shifts are held over Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch). No weekend working. Permanent position.

This role will be based at the company's Magherafelt / Castledawson office.

Salary

£45,000 - £60,000 + other Fantastic Additional Benefits (Top Company) & Progression Opportunities

Responsibilities

The Fleet & Plant Manager will lead and oversee our fleet, stores, and plant management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and efficiency of the company assets. They will be responsible for coordinating various teams, implementing effective processes, and ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, security, and operational performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising equipment utilisation, reducing downtime, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. The Fleet and Plant Manager role demands a strong hands-on approach and technical proficiency in fleet and plant operations.

The Ideal Person

  • Must have experience in a similar role

  • Proven experience management, including fleet, facilities, stores, and plant operations.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to facilities and fleet management.

  • Proficiency in using facility management software, inventory management systems, and data analysis tools.
