Fixed Wire Testing Manager
Cookstown | £40,000-£50,000 | Permanent | Full-time

Our client, a leading engineering organisation, is seeking a Fixed Wire Testing Manager to oversee their electrical testing and inspection operations across various sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and proven team management experience to join a growing business with an excellent reputation for quality and safety.
The Role:
- Lead and manage a small team of electrical Testing & Inspection Technicians.
- Oversee fixed wire testing, commissioning, and inspection activities both in-house and on-site.
- Coordinate and conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
- Ensure full compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Liaise with clients to resolve technical queries and provide progress updates.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, promoting best practice and professional development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all testing activities.
About You:
- 2395 or equivalent Testing & Inspection certification (essential).
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical testing and inspection.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment.
- Excellent electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Full UK driving licence required.
