Fit-Out Foreman - Construction Team (Fit-Out)
Client
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Fit-Out Foreman to join a growing construction team based in Belfast. The company delivers high-quality interior fit-out projects across Northern Ireland and has developed a strong reputation for working within live, operational environments. Projects typically include commercial and retail fit-outs, refurbishments, and extensions within occupied premises, requiring a hands-on, detail-focused, and safety-conscious approach on site.
The Ideal Person
- Strong hands-on background in fit-out and interior works, ideally from a trade discipline.
- Proven experience delivering commercial and retail fit-out projects.
- Comfortable supervising works in live environments, with strict health & safety and public interface requirements.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors to tight programmes.
- Practical, proactive, and solutions-focused approach on site.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel to projects across Northern Ireland as required.
Responsibilities
As a Fit-Out Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fit-out activities across NI, including:
- Day-to-day site supervision of fit-out and refurbishment works.
- Managing and coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure quality and programme delivery.
- Driving productivity and maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site regulations.
- Managing works within live environments while minimising disruption to clients and the public.
- Liaising closely with project managers, site managers, clients, and design teams.
- Monitoring progress, quality control, and snagging through to project completion.
Remuneration
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + company benefits package.
