Salary: £15 - 17 per hour + Company vehicle

Our client, a prominent provider of security solutions, is renowned for their expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm and CCTV systems for commercial and industrial settings. Their unwavering dedication to safety and security has established them as a trusted partner across various sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and CCTV Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Overview:

  • System Installation: Install fire alarm systems and CCTV cameras, adhering to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Routine Maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance, inspections, and testing of fire alarm and CCTV systems to ensure they function effectively.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and repair issues in fire alarm and CCTV systems, delivering prompt and effective technical solutions.
  • System Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of new systems, ensuring all components are properly configured and operational.
  • Client Interaction: Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document all installations, services, repairs, and inspections to meet compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm and CCTV systems.
  • Strong understanding of system components, wiring, and configurations.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job locations.
  • Relevant certifications are highly valued.
