VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a niche manufacturing business based in Belfast who require a Financial Controller to join the team immediately. This is an interim contract for a period of 6 months and will be to help out during a period of transition within the business. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will take full responsibility for managing the full finance function, while reporting to the Corporate Board. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the Belfast site, including the leading of a finance team of c.5 staff members.

Due to the urgency of the role, candidates who are available at short notice would be preferred.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to time-pressured deadlines
• Previous payroll experience
• Change management skills
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the business

What you'll do

• Production and review of the monthly management accounts
• Reviewing and developing Finance & IT procedures
• Production of annual budget, including review of performance
• Monitor and review departmental costs
• Production of statutory accounts
