VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful family run business in County Down who are going through a period of transition with currently recruiting a Financial Controller. The business is currently implementing a new ERP system across the business and require an experienced Financial Controller to assist with the process development. The Financial Controller will be responsible for designing and implementing new controls and processes, to ensure utilisation of the financial system.

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential to have previously experience of implementing processes, proven track record of continuous improvement and available to commence a 6-month contract.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
• Previous experience of a large ERP system
• Proven experience of implementing financial processes
• Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
• Available at short notice
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple deadlines

What you'll do

• Lead the financial aspects of ERP project, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new financial processes
• Manage company cash flow, ensuring financial stability & liquidity
• Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Lead finance team
• Provide training and support to all staff on the ERP system
