Financial Controller - Belfast/Manufacturing

VANRATH are exclusively seeking a Financial Controller to develop a divisional finance function for a specialist manufacturing company. The business currently has revenues in excess of £15m with a view to growth in line with their corporate strategy.

What's required in the role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, they are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead & develop core activities, including but not limited to:

  • Compile timely and reliable month and year end closing data
  • Managing Cost Control
  • Provide financial information to and actively advise the management team
  • Compile required data for budget and forecast based on demonstrated performance
  • Support & Challenge the senior leadership on financial performance and improvement strategy

Experience & Qualifications needed:

This is a pivotal role within our management team. We are ideally looking for a Candidate who fulfils the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven management experience in a commercial environment
  • Experience of presenting financial information at senior level
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing sectors would be beneficial
