Financial Controller (Belfast City Centre, Hybrid)

The Client

VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting for a Financial Controller for a long-standing client in the public sector. The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:

• Full responsibility for financial reporting, FP&A, budgets, forecasting, and monitoring and controlling of financial performance
• Developing and maintaining robust financial controls and a risk management system
• Managing cash management and banking facilities
• Leading a team and ensuring suitable training and skills are in place to support the delivery of an effective finance team
• Collaborate with other business heads within the organisation to deliver agreed objectives

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Criteria

• 3 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience of managing and leading a finance team
• Knowledge and prior experience of complex finance systems
• Excellent understanding of accounting processes and controls
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Remuneration:

Salary c.£47k
