VANRATH are partnered with a Group Organisation based in Armagh in their recruitment of a Financial Controller on an interim basis. This is an opportunity to lead a small finance team, while taking responsibility for the organisation's financial management and reporting. This is a role that will initially be on a contract basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, based on performance.

Fully Qualified and Qualified by Experience candidates with proven experience in a similar role will be considered for this role. This is an ideal role for a Qualified Accountant with a few years experience who might be stepping into their first role as an FC.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience (must be able to demonstrate relevant experience within the desired areas)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Available to start at short notice

What you'll do

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of monthly journals
• Treasury management
• Cash management
• Supervision of small finance team
