About you:

  • ACA/FCA Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role, demonstrating high accuracy
  • Proven experience working within a finance team
  • Skilled in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiar with computerised accounting software
  • Desirable: experience in a regulated environment or professional services sector

What you'll do:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and departmental reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Assist with operational performance reporting, including capacity and turnover analysis
  • Support statutory accounts preparation and audit schedules
  • Review reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts and ensure month-end and year-end process accuracy
  • Contribute to internal controls, compliance tasks, and regulatory filings such as VAT returns and SARs submissions
  • Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Act as a central point for finance queries and support team members across various activities
