About you:

ACA/FCA Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent)
At least 2 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role, demonstrating high accuracy
Proven experience working within a finance team
Skilled in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Familiar with computerised accounting software
Desirable: experience in a regulated environment or professional services sector

What you'll do:

Prepare monthly management accounts and departmental reports to support strategic decision-making
Assist with operational performance reporting, including capacity and turnover analysis
Support statutory accounts preparation and audit schedules
Review reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts and ensure month-end and year-end process accuracy
Contribute to internal controls, compliance tasks, and regulatory filings such as VAT returns and SARs submissions
Collaborate with department heads on budgeting and forecasting processes
Act as a central point for finance queries and support team members across various activities
