VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful organisation in Lisburn in their recruitment of a Financial Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large scale team within an organisation who provide an essential service to their client base.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the finance function of the business, including preparation of monthly budget figures, assisting with preparation of business cases and handling all VAT/systems queries.
This is an initial interim contract with the possibility to secure a permanent contract for the successful candidate.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
What you'll do
- Production of monthly management accounting information
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals
- Reconciliation of bank
- VAT returns
- System maintenance
- General accounts administration
