The company are going through a period of growth year on year and require the support of an experienced, Qualified Accountant. This is an opportunity for a capable finance professional with month end close experience, to join a thriving team.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of monthly & annual accounts, financial management, project accounting and application of financial controls.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • Experience of manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll do

  • Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, accruals & prepayments, journal entries & month end reconciliations
  • Application of financial controls, adherence to internal control procedures
  • Reconciliation of service charges and VAT adjustments
  • Provision of professional financial advice and information
