The Financial Accountant will report to the Head of Finance and provide support to the Finance Office in the following areas, preparation of monthly and annual accounts, financial management, project accounting and application of financial controls. To be considered for this opportunity it is essential to be a Qualified Accountant, with at least 2+ years in a similar role. If you have extensive experience of Tax, alongside the month end accounts preparation, then please do apply below!

About you

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experience of management accounts preparation
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP
  • Strong IT skills particularly MS Excel
  • Results driven individual

What you'll do

  • Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, accruals & prepayments, journal entries, month end reconciliations
  • Application of financial controls, adherence to internal control procedures
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Reconciliation of service charges and VAT adjustments
  • Analysis and maintenance of expenditure analysis
