Project Manager (CIMA/Finance) - Local Authority- £50K
VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a Project Manager for a large Local Authority. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this is an urgent start for an initial duration of 9 months. This is an immediate requirement, and the successful candidate will be available to start as soon as possible.
Remuneration
Up to £50,000, plus pension, holiday pay and discount benefits.
Responsibilities
The post holder will have operational responsibility for the following areas
- Belfast Regional City Deal
- Internal Controls and Processes to Improve Governance
- Project Managing implementation of additional Modules on Computerised Finance System.
- Improvements in reporting processes of both Statutory Finance and Management Accounts
- Finance Policy and Procedures
- Develop and lead a continuous improvement program for the Financial Accounts and the Management Accounts Teams to ensure the Finance Department deliver a high quality service to meet the needs of the organisation, its customers, its internal policies and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Provide Support to the Head of Finance.
Qualifications
- Prince2 Practitioner qualified or equivalent project Management qualification.
- Hold a professional qualification with a recognised accountancy body (CCAB or CIMA)
