About you
- Proven track record leading finance or shared services teams (15-20 staff), ideally within a professional services or large corporate environment
- Strong operational experience across billing, receivables, and cash management
- Skilled in process improvement, automation, and performance optimisation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at senior level
- Commercially focused with strong analytical ability and advanced Excel/ERP systems knowledge
- Inclusive and motivational leader with a genuine commitment to staff development
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and cash allocation
- Manage, mentor, and develop a large team across multiple functions and regions
- Partner with senior finance leadership to deliver strategic improvement projects and enhance working capital performance
- Champion automation and technology initiatives to improve process efficiency and data insight
- Monitor and report on KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring targets are achieved
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
