About you

  • Minimum of three years' experience managing finance in a medium to large organisation or equivalent experience
  • Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience Accountant
  • Experience of preparing management and statutory financial reports, including budgets and forecasts
  • Knowledge of VAT, and familiarity with accounting systems such as Sage or similar
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent communication skills


What you'll do

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations including transactional processing, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budget reports
  • Oversee VAT returns and statutory compliance, supporting audits and financial reporting
  • Lead on financial planning, monitoring, and reporting to senior management
  • Support funding applications and grant reporting as needed
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement
