About you
- Minimum of three years' experience managing finance in a medium to large organisation or equivalent experience
- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience Accountant
- Experience of preparing management and statutory financial reports, including budgets and forecasts
- Knowledge of VAT, and familiarity with accounting systems such as Sage or similar
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including transactional processing, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budget reports
- Oversee VAT returns and statutory compliance, supporting audits and financial reporting
- Lead on financial planning, monitoring, and reporting to senior management
- Support funding applications and grant reporting as needed
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement
