VANRATH are delighted to be working with a growing food manufacturing business in Armagh who are currently recruiting a Finance Manager to join their business. This role is an urgent post for the organisation and can offer the opportunity for an immediate start.

The Finance Manager will be reporting to the Managing Director and will support the delivery of the overall group strategy. You will lead the finance team, in assisting with the preparation and submitting the monthly management accounts for the group.

To be considered for this role it is essential to be a Qualified Accountant, ideally with experience within the food industry (all industries will be considered if demonstrable experience is presented).

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative
  • Ability to work productively and flexibly while meeting deadlines
  • Driving licence and access to own car essential (travel between offices)
  • Available to start at short notice

What you'll do

  • Assist with the preparing and submitting the monthly management accounts
  • Assist with reporting on budgets, cashflow
  • Production of KPI reports on sales, products, customers etc
  • Manage year end processes including preparation for audit
  • Maintain a working relationship with HMRC
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting cycles
