The role:
Reporting into the Financial Director, this is a crucial role for someone who is confident in presenting figures to key stakeholders and influencing decision making. A truly value add role that includes;
- Maintaining and presenting cashflows to Senior Management, factoring in future site purchases, predicted sales and costs
- Participation in site appraisals, including new site acquisitions and reporting performance against budgeted appraisal performance
- Liaising with our Funder, including preparation of monthly drawdown reports and arising queries, new site funding and annual reporting updates
- Preparation of detailed annual budget and tracking against budget throughout the year, including sales and contractor costs
- Quarterly management accounts with variance analysis commentary
- Quarterly Board Pack preparations, including quarterly and YTD performance against budget
- Monthly / Quarterly Vat returns
- Stat account reviews
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA )
- 1-2 years Industry experience
- Ability to present figures and influence decision makers
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Self-motivate and able to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Experience of using Sage accounts software would be beneficial
