Finance Business Partner (65k/Belfast/Hybrid)

The Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, acting as business partner of operational teams and manager for finance business partner team. Other duties will include:

  • Manage the monthly reporting of performance against budget for all stakeholders as required
  • Perform regular project cost analysis, covering both capital expenditure and operating expenses
  • Develop financial models and perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives
  • Work closely with other Finance teams such as Management Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Group Finance as well as local Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support in the development and maintenance of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
  • Stay up to date with industry and market trends and provide insights to the business on potential impact
  • Take responsibility of the day-to-day running of the Finance Business Partnering team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality
  • Work with the team, by setting challenging goals and objectives for all direct reports, create and manage development plans, and maximise the potential of each individual team member


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be qualified and experienced in the following areas:

  • Degree in finance, accounting or related field, preferably with a professional accounting qualification
  • Significant relevant experience within a finance and business partnering environment, communicating with financial and non-financial orientated individuals/teams
  • Proven experience managing competing deadlines and balancing multiple projects
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
