VANRATH are delighted to be working with an established Public Sector Organisation in Holywood who are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team. The role will play an integral support role within the Finance and Governance Department and across the organisation. The role will assist in a range of activities to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the organisation's finance and governance affairs are achieved.

The Ideal Person
A minimum of 2 GCSEs (Grade C or above) in Maths and English or equivalent and at least 6 months' experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced, public-facing environment; or 2 years' relevant administrative experience.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable duties in preparation of weekly supplier payment runs
Allocate purchase orders and goods receipts to supplier invoices
Process invoice and Direct Debit payments to domestic and international suppliers
Ensure all accounts payable activities and transactions comply with all financial processes and procedures
Assist with audit process when required
