Finance Assistant (Global Firm) (£23k)

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable) for a leading global law firm operating in over thirty countries.

This role will be working from home, potential to change to a hybrid approach down the line in the Belfast City Centre offices.

This role will iniitally be based off a 12-month contract.

This is a Monday - Friday position.

Salary
£21,000 - £23,000 + Leading Benefits Package from a Global firm + Continuous Progression Opportunities

Key Tasks:

• Working with and supporting the appropriate Accounts Payable team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work in accordance with pre-determined metrics

• Obtaining appropriate authorisations prior to transaction processing

• Data entry onto the finance system;

• Dealing with telephone enquiries and queries;

• Providing general support and advice within the functional area of responsibility;

• Providing detailed financial information;

• Appropriate electronic filing of all documentation;

• Dealing with miscellaneous duties to assist in the smooth running of the department;

• Adhere to internal policies and good practice across the teams;

The Ideal Person:

• Experience in the last 5 years of working within a busy finance function

• Good numeracy and literacy skills and a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent (including at least a Grade B in English and Maths)

• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working within an Accounts Payable environment
