VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a recognisable business within the Professional Services sector in Belfast, in their recruitment of a Finance Assistant. This is initially a contract role for a period of 6 months, but it does have the potential to become a permanent role for the successful candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a business who have an excellent reputation in the local market due to their exceptional track record.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting across the finance department including invoice processing, preparation of supplier payments, allocating incoming payments and administration of company expenses. If you are an experienced Finance Assistant, with excellent communication skills, this is the ideal opportunity.
About you
- 2 years' experience of working in a high-volume transactional role
- Purchase ledger/Accounts payable experience
- Strong IT skills including MS Office
- Available at short notice
- Strong team working ability
What you'll do
- Input and process high volume of purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Handle supplier queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaising with budget holders for payment approval, preparation of supplier payments
- General accounts administration
