A leading law firm based in Belfast require a Finance Assistant to join their team on a 14-month contract. Are you comfortable working on a high-volume ledger, ensuring aged debt is kept to a minimum?

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a successful law firm in Belfast who currently require an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Credit Control Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proactive & timely collection of invoices due for payment, through daily contact with Clients, and the prompt response to internal & external Client requests, queries and reporting requirements.

The Ideal Person


If you've 2+ years' experience working in a collections or customer service environment,

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to deliver tasks in professional and organised way
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment


Responsibilities


As a Finance Assistant you will:

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts
  • Proactively engage with Clients
  • Handle incoming queries from Clients
  • Assist with monitoring and managing credit limits and terms
