VANRATH are recruiting for an Field Service Engineer to assist our client in the service and maintenance of fixed and mobile medical equipment, systems and networks.

Remuneration:
Starting salary of £38,000 to £42,000pa

Client

Our client is a highly successful supplier of bespoke patient care services, along with best-in-class healthcare technologies and consumables. Sustained growth has seen them become the largest manufacturer and provider of bespoke medical equipment in the UK, now with offices in Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast.

Their Belfast office alone has grown from 80 to 120+ staff in recent years and they specialise in the supply and installation of medical equipment, conference room systems, screens, computer systems and other Audio Visual products for high profile companies, hospitals and government authorities across NI.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out full equipment maintenance for customers in line with contractual requirements.
  • Respond to 'call outs' as organized from the Service Desk.
  • To carry out, where possible repairs to customers' equipment in the in-house workshop.
  • To assist carrying out customer demonstrations when required to do so.
  • To install and commission equipment on customer premises when required.
  • To ensure that the test equipment is in good order.
  • To monitor calibration dates of test equipment.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures when servicing equipment.
  • Maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
  • Diagnose and help to resolve product performance problems
  • To ensure that all paperwork and systems are up to date.


The Ideal Person:

  • Third level qualification in Engineering related field
  • 2 years experience in service/maintenance engineering
  • Full UK Drivers License
