Family Law Solicitor - Belfast (Hybrid)

Our client is a respected and well-established legal practice based in a central Belfast location. With continued expansion within their family law department, they are now seeking a skilled Family Law Solicitor to join their team.
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take ownership of a varied family law caseload within a collaborative and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will work independently while having access to first-class support and guidance. The role involves managing matters from first instruction through to resolution, delivering clear, compassionate, and effective advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a diverse range of private family law cases, including divorce, financial matters, ancillary relief (including high-value cases), and private child arrangements
- Providing sensitive and well-reasoned advice to clients navigating challenging personal issues
- Preparing legal documentation, drafting court papers, and managing case files effectively
- Representing clients in court and conducting advocacy as required
- Maintaining strong client relationships and consistently delivering high standards of service
- Supporting the wider team in business development initiatives, including contributing to written content or promotional activity
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines and performance expectations
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Current practising certificate and admission to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland
- Strong expertise and confidence in handling complex family law matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide balanced and empathetic advice
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and make sound professional decisions
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team culture
- Familiarity with digital case management systems
- Working knowledge of LAMS is desirable
- Experience on the Children Order Panel or Guardian Ad Litem Panel would be beneficial
