The Role


The firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join its busy team. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of family law matters, working closely with clients to provide practical, empathetic, and results-focused legal advice.
This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexibility to suit individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and child-related cases
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements
  • Providing clear, compassionate, and pragmatic advice to clients
  • Representing clients in negotiations and, where required, at court hearings
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland
  • Proven experience in family law (minimum 1 year PQE desirable, though all levels considered)
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication and client care skills with an empathetic approach
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and effectively
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
