Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Are you an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with experience in Facilities Maintenance?


VANRATH are recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to contribute to the ongoing external upkeep of a state of the art production facility.

8:00am to 4:30pm Mon to Fri

Client
Our client is an established name in the UK's Food Production industry. With multiple sites around the UK, including state of the art production facilities, they employ thousands of staff with the central focus of providing the nation with authentic, ethically sourced and sustainably produced food of the highest possible quality.

Main Responsibilities
* General maintenance duties across the manufacturing site
* Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to all departments
* Work under the instruction of the site supervisor endeavouring to meet the needs of the task in a timely manner & to the highest standard
* To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
* Carry out carpentry & building fabrication repairs
* Carry repairs to various systems including heating, ventilation, electrical and plumbing
* Review and carry out site fabrication repairs in line with technical and customer standards
* Carrying out PPM tasks and record via the CMMS

The Ideal Person:

  • Time served in a relevant trade or discipline
  • Third level qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Full UK Drivers License
