About you:

  • You bring experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or relevant commercial roles
  • You possess a solid understanding of construction methodologies and cost planning principles
  • You have excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and working effectively within tight deadlines are among your strengths
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
  • You are either degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or are working towards such qualifications
  • Experience with estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory

What you'll do:

  • Support the preparation of accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for multiple construction projects
  • Carry out quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and documentation
  • Assist in compiling cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and budget estimates
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather competitive pricing and ensure scope coverage
  • Support bid management by organising tender documentation and analysing supply chain quotations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in estimating processes and data recording
  • Help prepare for client meetings and tender interviews, enhancing your exposure to stakeholder engagement
