Estates Facilities Manager (Public Sector)
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Estates Facilities Manager
Responsibilities
The Estates Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day Facilities and Operational Development across all College Campuses. To manage a team of Facilities Managers and Caretakers spread across the College Facilites to deliver a coordinated college wide approach to facilities management (i.e. maintenance, ppm, remedials, cleaning, catering, porterage, security etc.). In addition, the post holder would have oversight of any outsourced contracts in relation to above. The postholder would not be directly responsible for Health & Safety but would work closely with the College Health & Safety Manager.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
Qualifications and experience
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant professional qualification in facility management.
- Applicants must hold GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grades A - C, or equivalent.
- 3 years' experience of Property Management within a multi-site, dispersed environment, including facilities management, security and risk reduction.
- Experience in the effective management of resources including experience of managing a budget of £3.5 million.
- A track record of motivating, leading and managing a successful team.
- Report writing and presentation of factual information, providing reports to board level.
Remuneration
£45,718 - £48,710 plus discount benefits.
